CMHA/Peel’s First Networking Event
Hockey legend Ron Ellis spoke about his struggles with mental illness at CMHA/Peel’s first networking event held during Mental Health Week on May 5th, 2009 at Brampton Golf Club. The aim of the event was to raise awareness about mental health in Peel Region, while at the same time learn creative tax strategies to make charitable donations.

In addition to Ellis, Peel lawyers Bonnie Yagar and Michael J. Prsa talked about planned giving and other effective tax strategies for making donations.

More than 40 local professionals attended, each of whom showed a keen interest in what was said and a desire to learn more information. If you’re interested in Planned Giving click here or contact Shelagh Nuttall at 905-451-1718 x 320 or nuttalls@cmhapeel.ca.
