Impact is a strengths based program for youth that promotes
personal responsibility and positive social interactions. Impact
provides substance abuse education and harm reduction strategies
in individual and group settings. We connect young people to
information and services in their community.
What is Impact?
Impact youth group offers a positive safe place for young people
to practice life and social skill development, with an emphasis
on substance abuse education and harm reduction skills and
strategies. Impact also offers individualized, community-based
supportive counselling to youth regarding substance use, mental
health, personal growth and recovery.
Who can benefit?
Anyone 12 – 18 years old who lives in Brampton, Caledon or
Malton, who experiences difficulties at home, school or in the
community as a result of substance use and/or mental health
problems.
What are the major benefits?
